The role of the social participation bodies in the administration and operation of educational units in the educational systems of the member states of the European Union: ideological, organizational and social characteristics: comparative study
Abstract
In the international environment, the perception that the economic and social development of a country is directly linked to the quality of the education system is well established. Such a function requires upgrading and modernizing the ideological and administrative structures of education. This new vision perceives the administration of the educational system as a regulatory body, autonomous from the central administration, as a dynamic system that operates decentralized on the basis of the rational use of available resources, materials and intangibles, who are employed to achieve the announced educational goals and of one state's policies. In the European countries, at the level of primary and secondary education, institutions of social participation, whose composition and competences differ between the Member States of the EU, are functioning.
