The mainobjective through the implementation of educational software "Young Writers" wasfirstly to investigate the possibility of assisting students in sixth grade primary schoolto experiences and develop skills for creative writing (targeting not only the linguisticand aesthetic development, but also personal and psychosocial empowerment), as wellas the possibility of transformation of the teaching - learning process in languagecourses, applying contemporary and timeless principles of student-centered, personcenteredand constructivist and emancipatory pedagogy, on the one hand and thecommunicative, procedural socio-semiotic language teaching on the other, in whichwill be used creatively while at the same time some of the ICT facilities will beexplored. Main axes of amplification of the results and processes of our educationalintervention are: (a) the conditions and effects of language teaching whichemphasizes, among other things, to procedural, communicative and experientialapproach to language learning, in turn focuses on certain goals of personal and socialdevelopment of students (emotional intelligence, e.g., self-expression and selfpurification,self-esteem and self-confidence, interpersonal communication), whileproviding opportunities for involvement in higher functions of creative and criticalthinking (b) the possibility of reinforcing incentives-expressive creative writing andreading behavior (filanagnosia) of survey students who are approached as writers ofcreative-personal speech within a student literary community and (c) possible changesin:• the perceptions and attitudes of students across the course of language in general -the "symbolic gift" according to Bourdieu (1991, Grenfell, 1998) and in writingin particular.• the perception of self-efficacy about their writing.• the perceptions and attitudes in school work with computers.• the quality of communication between students within the student group, andwhole class - according to the rules of the dialogue (general rules box) and theterms of person-centered communication psycho - educational approach of C. Rogers (mutual acceptance, empathy, genuine, positive communication, selfacceptance, autonomy, self-control, responsibility, etc.) - as a result of thecounseling approach to be adopted by both the design and the practice of oureducational intervention and,• to create the conditions for the application of model "community of writers" inschool. In this action research two different kinds of triangulation are applied: (a)methodological triangulation and (b) the combined levels triangulation. The analysis and evaluation of: (1) data relating to the total development of studentsby criteria of person-centered approach (personal development, facilitate developmentof positive interpersonal communication and climate of the group, based onpredetermined and open set of criteria) will be made with the special collaboration ofscientists and educators/ co-researchers of the class for the validity and reliability ofboth the interpretation as well as the results of the analysis of data quality andresearch findings and (2) produced creative multimodal students΄ artwork will be inaccordance with: (a) the criteria for literary expression (simple categorization) (Piitro,2004, Csikszentmihalyi, 1996/1997) and (b) through the Grounded Theory. The exploration of the evolution of written and oral / interactive speech of studentswill be conducted through the comparative study of selected data sources at variousstages of program implementation (initial, intermediate, final). In order to achieve more possible comprehensive view and understanding of theresearch situation, the researcher uses a variety of methods and sources of datacollection (interviews, open-ended questions, analysis dialogues between students aswell as between students and partners, analysis of the written material produced bycreative pupils, student portraits, portofolio, researcher diary, questionnaires),naturalistic observation and use of educational software "Young Writers", which wascreated for the purpose of this investigation. The most important result of action research "Young Writers" is that thepossibilities for thorough expression of children in creative ways are unlimited andunknown. The only thing that students need to realize their possibilities is theappropriate framework, to give them flesh and bones, to embody. At the same timethe opportunity is provided to the teacher to offer to young writers the appropriate reflectively props so that they produce creative writing texts of high quality, whichmany times can be higher than the adults΄ writings.Students: (a) perceive things around them in a non-linear way, enjoy the play onwords and feel satisfied discovering what happens when engaging images (imaginary, real), sounds, feelings (loudly or positive), personal experiences and technical writing(theoretical background) in order to create their own written work of art and (b)consider writing as an extension of themselves, expressing personal knowledge, positions, emotions, experiences and not as a tedious school activity
