Comparative study of different body fat reduction treatments and aerobic exercise, for achieving body fat reduction in women 25-50 years old

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of differentmethods for reduction of the body fat in women aged between 25-50 years old, and toinvestigate factors, which can influence that possible reduction. The research sampleconsisted of 60 women of all somatotypes, who lived in the area of Thessaloniki. 3Treatment groups and 1 Control group were formed. Each treatment protocol lasted 12weeks, and consisted either of massage treatments, or of aerobic exercise, usingtreadmill, or of aerobic exercise, using treadmill with vacuum.3 research tools were used, such as the measurement protocol, the observationprotocol and the questionnaire interview.
