The effects of the pandemic Covid-19 on the Greek economy

Abstract

This doctoral thesis has as its main and general purpose the description and reference of the factors that play a decisive role in the fight of a state against crises. More specifically, this thesis will delve into the most recent case of global crisis, which is the Covid-19 pandemic. It will emphasize the case of the Greek state through the identification and discussion of State Spending in the Health sector before, during and after the Covid-19 pandemic crisis. The topics that will be analyzed during this doctoral dissertation will be approached on the one hand through literature review and on the other hand through primary quantitative and qualitative research. More specifically, the literature review aims to collect secondary data and official data and information to cover the analyzed topics through the perspective of other researchers and scholars.
