EFFECT AND MEANING OF HIGHER ORDER CORRECTIONS AT SEVERAL PROBLEMS OF THE QUANTUM CHROMODYNAMICS.

Abstract

USING THE HELICITY METHOD WE DETERMINED VIRTUAL AMPLITUDES , FINITE ONE LOOP HIGHER ORDER CORRECTIONS (HOC) TO PROCESSES DOMINATED BY 5-PAPTON SUBPROCESSES ARE DETERMINED. FROM THE BREMSSTRAHLUNG CONTRIBUTIONS ( 6-PAPTON SUBPROCESSES), THOSE DUE TO SOFT AND COLLINEAR PARTONS ARE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT: THUS THE TOTALITY OF VIRTUAL, SOFT AND COLLINEAR HOC IS INCLUDED. WE CONSIDER P-P-γ+γ+χ(tenatron)and pp-γ+γ+χ(LHC) DOMINATED BY q-q-γγg AND gq-γγq THE RESULTING K-FACTORS WELL EXCEED UNITY NEXT-TO-LEADING (NLO) EFFECTS ON SOFFR'S TRASVERSITY BOUND ARE STUDIED. IT IS SHOWN THAT DEFINING THE NLO CORRECTIONS TO THE TRANSVERSITY VIA DRELL-YAN LEPTON PAIR PRODUCTION , BUT TO THE UNPOLARIZED AND LONGITUDINALLY POLARIZED DISTRIBUTIONS VIA DEEPINELASTIC SCATTERING , RESULTS IN A SUBSTANTIAL SUPPRESION OF THE BOUND FOR ALL q=u,d,s.
