Psoriatic arthritis: clinical, serological and imaging features
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) who meet the CASPAR criteria and those with axial involvement additionally the ASAS criteria. This study aims at recording the clinical characteristics of PsA patients in Northwestern Greece. The present study also aims at investigating the effect of epidemiological parameters on disease activity. Furthermore primary goal of the current study was to investigate the therapeutic response of patients receiving synthetic and / or biological DMARDs. Finally, the study aims to investigate the potential effect of PsA activity on lipid profile of the patients. For the above purposes, a 5 years retrospective study has been performed. The present study indicated that: 1. PsA occurs mainly during the 4th to 5th decade of life, the predominant subtype at the onset of the disease is asymmetric oligoarthritis.
