Abstract

The present project is thematically incorporated to the sector of School Pedagogy while from a methodological point of view, forms part of the “survey” or “field” researches. The goal of this project is the theoretical and experiential approach of interpersonal relations between tutorial personnel and pupils, in the school classes of Primary Education. In the theoretical part of the project the interpersonal relations, based on bibliographic sources, are being analyzed. In the experiential part of the project the points of view of tutorial personnel concerning the interpersonal relations that they have with the pupils of their classes are examined, as well as the role that those relations play in the pedagogic - didactic procedure. The target group of the research is consisted by the entire corps of the tutorial personnel of Primary Education of the prefecture of Imathia. The method that was used in gathering the data was that of a questionnaire. The following findings are among the most important: Pleasant interpersonal relations contribute to the efficiency of the educational task. Certain parameters that influence interpersonal relations are, the individual traits of pupils - tutorial personnel (mainly the performance of the students and the age of the tutors), the conduct of tutor-students, the “frame” factors (such as the interpersonal relations between the Principal, tutors, parents) and the interactional deeds of tutors - pupils (i.e. verbal and non - verbal communication, expectations, conflicts and the group cohesion of the class).
