DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF PLATES AND SHELLS BY BOUNDARY ELEMENTS
Abstract
THE DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF PLATES AND SHALLOW SHELLS USING THE BOUNDARY ELEMENT METHOD IS PRESENTED IN THIS THESIS. THE PLATES AND SHALLOW SHELLS ARE CONSIDERED TO BE OF ANY GEOMETRICAL PLANFORM, BOUNDARY SUPPORT CONDITION WITH ISOTROPIC, HOMOGENEOUS AND ELASTIC MATERIAL. THE METHOD IS APPLIED TO THE FREE AND FORCED VIBRATIONS. THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE METHOD IS PROVED BY EXTENDED SERIES OF EXAMPLES.
