THIS WORK SHOWS HOW THE FAMILY, THE HOMELAND AND THE RELIGION ARE REPRESENTED IN GREEK POETRY FOR CHILDREN DURING THE PERIOD 1945-1985 ARE IN PARTICULAR EXAMINED THE FAMILY ROLES (THE DISTRIBUTION OF DOMESTIC TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND VARIOUS ACTIVITIES WITHIN FAMILY, THE PROFESSIONAL LIFE OF ITS ADULT MEMBERS), THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY (BETWEEN TWO GENDERS, BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT GENERATIONS) AND THE ORGANIZATION OF THE FAMILY HOME. ITS ALSO ANALYZED THE CONCEPT OF THE HOMELAND (LITTLE HOMELAND, NATION, RACE), THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CITIZENS AND HOMELAND, THE MEANING THAT PATRIOTIC FEELING AND DUTY AS WELL AS THE REPRESENTATION OF OTHER PEOPLES. FURTHERMORE, THE REPRESENTATION OF CHRISTIANITY (CHRISTIAN AND GOD'S MESSAGES) ARE EXAMINED, THE RELIGIOUS FEELING AND RELIGIOSITY OF BELIEVERS AS WELL AS THE WAY IN WHICH THEIR ACCESSION TO CHRISTIANITY DETERMINES THEIR VALUES SYSTEM AND DEFINES THEIR SOCIAL BEHAVIOR.
